Simply call our office and we can talk through the possibilities for your home and explain the services we offer. We design and build to suit each client’s individual needs, lifestyle and personal taste.

Our experienced design team has worked across a wide range of architectural styles and solutions. In the past, we have created homes in styles such as Federation, Australian Cottage, Contemporary, Coastal Classic, Warehouse, Beach and Hampton.

Whatever your vision, we can work with you to create a design solution that complements your home and suits the way you live.

We provide a complete, end-to-end service, from the initial concept design through to DA submission or Complying Development Certificate (CDC) submission.

Our team handles everything, including site surveys, engineering, council negotiations, Construction Certificate applications, inspections by certifiers and engineers, and managing all trades during construction, right through to obtaining the Council’s final compliance certificate. In short, we manage the entire process to ensure your first floor addition is completed smoothly and efficiently.

We use the latest 3D design technology, making floor plans and elevations easy to visualise and understand. Our quotes are comprehensive, clearly outlining each stage of the project. For contracts, we use the HIA Plain English Contract, a standard widely recommended by consumer groups and building authorities for its clarity and transparency.

Tag Team Constructions Pty Ltd, trading as Your Style Designer Home Additions, has been operating across the Sydney metropolitan area for over 37 years, with a strong focus on the Northern Beaches. Throughout this time, Your Style has never had a Home Owners Warranty claim and has never been taken to the Builder’s Tribunal or court, reflecting our long-standing reputation for quality and reliability.

Builder quotes can differ significantly because many don’t include costs such as site surveys, engineering, design, or council application fees. Other factors that affect pricing include the type and style of building materials, as well as provisional and prime cost items.

The quality of tradespeople also impacts the final outcome—using less experienced or inconsistent trades can affect workmanship. At Your Style, we use the same trusted team of plumbers, electricians, plasterers, carpenters, and bricklayers on every project to ensure consistent, high-quality results every time.

Many of Your Style’s renovated homes have significantly increased in value due to thoughtful and well-planned design. When deciding whether to move or renovate, it’s important to consider the hidden costs of buying a new home—stamp duty, moving expenses, real estate commissions, legal fees, and often additional work or extensions needed in the new property.

For most of our clients, renovating and improving their existing home proves to be far more economical and rewarding than selling and moving.

Knocking down and rebuilding is a lengthy and expensive process. It involves moving out and renting, design and DA submission, demolition, excavation, and the build itself—often excluding landscaping and new furniture—quickly pushing costs beyond the original budget.

A first-floor addition, on the other hand, does not require moving out, comes at a fixed price, adds value to your property, is quicker and more affordable, and in many cases results in a larger, more functional home than starting from scratch.

Most of our clients are able to stay at home safely while construction is underway. Moving out and paying rent is an unnecessary expense, and we make sure the site is tidy, secure, and safe at the end of each day.

The duration of the build depends on the size of your addition. Most projects are completed within 16–22 weeks, while larger additions or renovations that include downstairs work can take up to 30 weeks. Your Style ensures trades work continuously throughout the build, with minimal interruptions, to keep your project on schedule.
